The Saunasella sauna chairs are suitable for all types of saunas, infrared cabins, and lounge areas. They are aimed at both private sauna owners and public venues such as spas, hotels, fitness facilities, and healthcare establishments. The Wood-type chairs have been carefully designed to take up little space while remaining pleasant and ergonomic to relax on. This feature is especially important when you use the chair in a sauna, where space is limited. The chairs are resistant to heat and humidity and have been tested to meet high demands, especially for public areas. All Wood chairs are foldable and can easily be put aside when not needed or during cleaning.

The idea of bringing a chair into a sauna might feel strange at first. However, compared to a traditional sauna bench, a sauna chair offers a pleasant and ergonomic sitting posture. In a public sauna, each user has their own private seating area. The room’s layout can easily be changed by increasing or decreasing the number of chairs. If you prefer to lie down, you can naturally combine both traditional benches and sauna chairs in the sauna.

In saunas, the chairs are usually placed on the lower bench level. In infrared cabins, the chairs can also be placed on the floor. When choosing the right-sized chair for a sauna or infrared cabin, pay special attention to the measurements provided below for each chair type.

Relax after your bath

The Saunasella chairs are a perfect fit for use outside the sauna, by the swimming pool, or in an infrared cabin. The compact features of the Wood chairs come in handy in lounge areas, where space is more limited. With more space, the Classic 60 chair combined with the W10 footrest is an excellent choice. The Fortis chair, with a higher, wider seat, is a perfect choice for the elderly and for bathers with reduced mobility.

All Saunasella products are handmade in Finland. All the chairs are made of durable alder. The wooden surface of the chairs is waxed to make it dirt-repellent. The backrest is flexible, shapes itself comfortably to the back, and provides support. The sitting position becomes comfortable and relaxing. All fittings in the chairs and the lounger are made of stainless steel.

Wood W90

This chair in our chair assortment takes up the least space. It can be easily folded. When the chair is placed in a sauna, the minimum recommended bench depth is 90cm. The chair can be equipped with armrests and a W10 footrest. Note that the armrests extend the chair’s width by 13 cm.

Wood W100

This is our medium-sized chair, most commonly sold for use in sauna interiors. When the chair is placed in a sauna, the minimum recommended bench depth is 100cm. The chair can easily be folded. Available accessories are armrests and a W10 footrest. Note that the armrests extend the chair’s width by 13cm.

Wood W120

When more space is available, we recommend the W120 chair. The seat is wider, and the sitting angle is more reclined compared to the other Wood chairs. When the chair is placed in a sauna, the minimum recommended bench depth is 120cm. The chair can easily be folded. Available accessories are armrests and a W10 footrest. Fortis

The Fortis sauna chair has a higher, wider seat that enables sitting without any extra effort. The chair’s stability and supportive armrests make it easier to sit in and get up from it. The backward-leaning seating position is comfortably relaxing and supports the entire back. This chair was developed in collaboration with rehabilitation professionals to meet the needs of the elderly and people with reduced mobility. The Fortis comes with fixed armrests. Available accessories are the Fortis foot support and W10 footrest.

Classic 60

In this chair, the sitting position is the most reclined compared to our other chair types. The chair’s side feet are stylishly curved. The chair comes with fixed armrests. An available accessory is a W-10 footrest.
